Sophomores spent the morning on Wednesday taking the Pre-ACT. The school district provides this opportunity in house and at no cost to the students. It allows them to get an idea of what to expect on the ACT and offers another avenue to meet the math qualification of the A+ requirements. #wearewheatland #academicsopportunitiesrelationships

Today's "Focus on Your Future Friday" graduation cord is the work force cord. This cord is given to students graduating who will be going straight into the workforce. The 8th grade students have the last few weeks of the semester to get a touch of the business classes they could start taking next year. First up was Yearbook, where students learned the functions of a camera, how to take pictures, and to download and upload them. 📸

We had a group of wonderful retired Wheatland teachers help judge our Elementary Science Fair last week. Between the three of them they have over 60 years of service to our school district. Thanks Ms. Artie Pearson (Special Education and Elementary Principal) Ms. Gwen Lind (Art) and Ms. Jill Campbell (Kindergarten) for your continued support of our students and community! #WeAreWheatland
Missouri School District APR Reports were recently released. We have posted scores in the graphic below. We are pleased with the results and look forward to continued improvement. Our staff is doing a great job! We are fortunate to have quality people working with our kids. While this state score is important, the APR does not measure the relationships our staff fosters with our students or student success stories inside/outside of the classroom. We are most excited about seeing our students grow on a daily basis. The learning process is full of hurdles and setbacks as much as success. We are very proud of our students and staff as they continue to succeed!
