Congratulations to our Nathan Sawyer on reaching his 1000th point tonight! The Mules defeated Hume 80-20 after the Lady Mules defeated the Lady Hornets 49-40. What a great way to kick off the season! #wearewheatland #mulecountry
Ecology students participated in an outdoor habitat simulation lab to discover principles of natural selection for themselves thanks to a Discover Nature grant from the Missouri Conservation Department.
Shout out to Hickamo for letting 5th grade students come over for our multiplying decimals field trip! Students planned a Thanksgiving meal, searched the store for their ingredients, learned about serving sizes, and tried to stay within their $75 budget. Afterwards they enjoyed ice cream in the cafe thanks to Mrs. Nichols’ generosity! This was more than a math lesson…students learned that their parents spend a lot of money on the food they eat and maybe they should be more thankful for what’s on their plate!
