The freshmen class participated in CPR training today. Special thank you to Chief Graham and the Central Hickory County Fire Department and Office Cihy for teaching them how to potentially save a life one day.
Mrs. Murphy’s biology students made DNA models then learned how to transcribe and translate them like your cells do daily to make proteins your body needs. It’s all in the code!

FFA Food Orders from Seitz Fundraising will be delivered to the school Thursday December 5th
Trucks are scheduled for mid-day, but times sometimes vary. All items should be in by the end of the school day.
Students will be responsible for picking up and delivering items in a timely manner.
Note: Many items arrive frozen!

Basketball season is here! Our HS boys jamboree is Monday, November 18 at home. Our HS girls will travel to Lockwood on Tuesday, November 19. We are looking forward to seeing our mules in action!

Culinary students have been learning to prepare a healthy dinner including vegetables, whole wheat carbohydrates and lean protein.
On Wednesday, FTA had the opportunity to spend the day in Columbia. The day started at the State FTA Convention where they heard from the 2024 Missouri Teacher of the Year, Mr. Greg Kester. Then there was a quick trip to the mall for lunch before their tour at MIZZOU! A little bit of rain couldn’t dampen their spirit!! It was a very full, but fun day for these Future Teachers!!
FFA members showed their spirit today by dressing in hunter orange and camouflage. We also hosted a Teacher Appreciation Chili Lunch to recognize and thank our dedicated educators!
