4th grade was able to do a Fractions Review using donuts! They had to work with doubling a recipe, comparing fractions, recognizing equivalent fractions, solving word problems with fractions, and turning improper fractions into mixed numbers. #AcademicsOpportunitiesRelationships

Our Elementary Mathletes competed at the Osceola Math Contest last night and had a remarkable showing. These students have been staying after school one day a week since October to work on various math skills and events in preparation for the contest season. Special thanks to their sponsors, Mrs. Saultz and Mrs. Shaddox for their time and effort they pour into these students! Third grade celebrated finishing their MATH TEXTBOOK by having a little Easter egg hunt! Each egg had a different math question in it- this was such a fun way to review everything we have learned this year! Students worked in pairs to search for a certain color of eggs. Depending on how many questions they got correct they got to pick a prize from our prize box!
Reminder: Wheatland School will not be in session this Friday, March 29th or Monday, April 1st.
