Test Day! Some juniors & seniors showed off their skills and took the ACT today at Wheatland. This allows our students the opportunity to take the ACT in-district and during school hours, instead of students having to sign up on their own time and having to find transportation. For any student wanting to take the ACT, the testing fee is covered by the district. They even got a batch of delicious cinnamon rolls to start the morning! #wearewheatland #academicsopportunitiesrelationships #scholars #highereducation

Mrs Shaddox’s 6th grade math reviewed ratios with a paper football game. Students had to first create their football by following the directions, then using the football, try to score a field goal. They had to record the ratios of attempts to misses, goals to misses, and goals to attempts.
Mrs. Dougherty's Baking class made Crème Brûlée during their dairy and egg unit, including torching the sugar on top.

2025 CONFERENCE CHAMPS! Wheatland Lady Mules defeated Hermitage Monday evening 11-1 to finish their conference season 7-0. This is the 2nd time in the past three seasons they have brought home the conference crown. After the Thursday win against Dixon their record stands at 22-5. The regular season wraps up Monday at Richland. District play begins Thursday at 3:00 @ Humansville. Good luck Lady Mules!

Mrs. Pearson is showing off her FFA graduation cord and t-shirt for her first "Focus on Your Future Friday" debut. Every Friday Mrs. Pearson will be featuring a new graduation cord that represents a way students can begin focusing on their future. The Wheatland School Administration treated the staff to a caramel apple bar today as a "thank you". The bar included all kinds of fix-ins and was received well by employees! The Wheatland Staff has been instrumental in our school's great start to the year! They are doing a great job and we appreciate them! 🫏
