Commendations issued at the recent Wheatland School Board Meeting were: SW Electric Co-op for their monetary support of our students in need, Hickory Co. Quilters for their donation, Becky Almond for recognition as Teacher of the Year by VFW District 14 and Ambrea Kennedy for winning the "What Freedom Means to Me" Essay Contest sponsored by the Pomme De Terre Chamber of Commerce. Thank you to these groups for supporting and recognizing our people!

Sophomores recently visited the Dallas County Technical Center in Buffalo to tour the facilities and check out the programs offered. Wheatland juniors and seniors will have the option to attend their morning sessions next year and choose from many new opportunities such as automotive, business, collision repair, construction, criminal justice, health science, information technology & cybersecurity, teaching pathways, welding, and senior capstone courses. #wearewheatland #careerandtechnicalstudents
