Middle School XC State Championships. The ms state championships were hosted across highway 83 this past Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway. Our MULES didn't disappoint as they finished the season on a high note. On the girls side, Teagan DeCavelle led the way finishing 3rd in class 1 and 6th in all classes with a time of 13:38.97. Ally Sawyer was close behind, coming in at 30th place with a time of 14:53.11. Rounding out the rest of our ladies mules XC team included (83) Mariah Box 17:03.76, (98) Kendra Box 18:02.97 & (117) Lilee Minzes 19:26.42. As a team the girls finished 7th in the small school division and 2nd in class 1. On the boys side, Trayce DeCavelle paced the way with a time of 14:02.01; good enough for a 70th place finish. Easton Pearson came in 146th place with a time of 15:48.41 and William Gordon finished in 194th place with a pace of 18:43.90. We are so proud of Coach Fellers and all our middle school runners on representing our school, community, themselves and their families throughout the season. Wheatland juniors and seniors were able to attend the Build My Future Career Day at Jefferson City. Students were able to do hands on activities such as operating heavy machinery, mowing, brick laying, welding, road work, roofing and much more!

Lady Mules Softball fell to Weaubleau in the district semi finals on Saturday. That ends the ladies’ fantastic season at 23-7. Included in their hardware this season is the Hermitage Tournament Championship and PCL Championship. Congratulations to these ladies on an incredible season!
