The high school physics class measured and calculated the average speed and velocity of vehicles driving past the school during the midday. Students found that the average car drove almost 10 miles/hr over the posted speed limit.

8th grade Careers class was assigned to create their own restaurant. They had to work from the ground up, and present their new business to their class!







Future Teachers of America met this morning for breakfast and to listen to our guest speaker, Mrs. Morlan. She spoke about her path into education, her love for all the different grade levels of students she has taught, and her future plans in education. Thank you, Mrs. Morlan! 💙 FTA is making plans to attend the state FTA meeting in Columbia, take a college tour at MU while there & help at the Wheatland PD day in December.


On Monday, our 4th grade made the annual trip to the Missouri State Capitol. We enjoyed a guided tour, had lunch at Carnahan Gardens, played century old games in the Lohman Building, took a walk over the Bicentennial Bridge and enjoyed the weather at Adrian's Island.











The Greenhouse Class successfully potted 30 Boston ferns, which will be cultivated in preparation for our upcoming Plant Sale in April. Stay tuned for more details, and thank you for supporting our horticulture program!




Judge Evans visited the 4th grade class today to talk about what he does as a judge, the judicial branch in general, and held a mock trial.






Here are the brackets for the 2024 PCL JH Basketball Tournament next week. JH girls start out on Monday at 4:30 against Walnut Grove. JH boys will play Monday against walnut Grove at 5:45. games will be at Weaubleau gymnasium. Good luck!
