Our 3rd grade recently went to the Pioneer Village in Warsaw. They learned how our settlers made hand hewn logs, soap, rope, brooms, horseshoes, kettle corn and what a typical day in a one room schoolhouse looked like. Afterwards, we took a private tour of the powerhouse at Truman Dam led by Wheatland alum, Brent Pearson. #AcademicsRelationshipsOpportunities #WeAreWheatland

Another amazing Springfield Little Theatre trip on the books! Our elementary students loved the show, The Little Mermaid and were star struck when some of the cast walked in to Chick Fil and ate supper with us. They were kind enough to take pictures and answer our questions. Thanks to Mrs. Gant and Mrs. Hoyt for taking them!
